Surrey JAGS Tours

The event was played over the 9-hole Academy golf course, which, given the rainy conditions was presented in excellent condition for the competitors to enjoy.

For the first time in ages the sun was shining in an almost cloudless sky and everything was set up perfectly for some great scores to be recorded.

With two players scoring 11 points, countback was used to establish the winner of the Scratch competition, with Eliot Bond (Farnham Golf Club) taking 1st place from Ian Byun. Countback was also used to decide third place with William Filkin (Hampton Court Palace) just taking the spot from Christopher Greve (St Georges Hill).

Euan Do (Horton Park) too the victory in the Handicap competition with William Filkin (Hampton Court Palace) taking 2nd place. Both players scored 35 points but Euan had a slightly better last three holes. Eliot Bond (Farnham Golf Club) finished third with 33 points.

Our thanks to the management and staff of Horton Park for supporting the JAGS Tour and of course, many thanks to all the volunteers and helpers who gave up their time to sure the day was a great success.

Congratulations to all our winners, and we look forward to welcoming you to the next event at Hoebridge Golf Centre on Sunday 19th May.
